2008 Checkered Flag Production Championship Chase!
(UPDATED 4-6-08) - Wildfire Motorsports wrapped up the 2008 Checkered Flag Production Championship Chase up in Pocatello Idaho this past weekened. Sean Duhon in the Amsoil T-Maxx took the racing win and locked up the overall championship, but with the title out of reach the Wildfire Motorsports team did not just lay down for the rest of the evneing. In fact, Rob French laid down a Grand National performance by putting in a solid 2 minutes of freestyle ending with the Dragon on its side, and a perfect score of 30 to with the Freestyle title for the night in Pocatello!

(UPDATED 3-4-08) - Wildfire Motorsports has been tearing it up, literally, all across the country this year! With hammer down racing and wild freestyle runs, Rob French in Twisted Dragon and Mark Foulk in Bulletproof have both gained eligability for the CFP Winter Championship event in Pocatello ID. Proof of this was seen this past weekend in Fayetteville NC as Rob French with Twisted Dragon launched the big bad corvette past vertical and landed upside down to take the freestyle victory.
(UPDATED 1-14-08) - Event 3 of the CFP Winter Nationals tour brought Wildfire Motorsports to Salem Virginia. Chris Powell took the reigns of Twisted Dragon all weekend, and piloted the Monster Corvette to freestyle wins on Saturday Afternoon and Saturday Evening, rolling the Dragon over on Saturday night. (UPDATED 1-6-08) - It was a wild weekend in Fayetteville NC on the CFP tour. Rob French piloted Twisted Dragon to the wheelie contest win, a runner up in racing and a tie for 1st in Freestyle. But it was Mark Foulk who got a taste of monster truck carnage during qualifying, as he locked up the brakes and landed hard in Bulletproof, snapping the front 4-links and destroying shocks, drive shafts, and the transfer case. Mark and the Wildfire Crew worked hard all night long to get Bulletproof back together in amazing fashion for the Saturday show. Saturday once again Twisted Dragon took the wheelie contest and was runner up once again to Bigfoot in the racing finals.
(UPDATED 1-2-08) - Rob French and Mark Foulk kicked off the 2008 Checkered Flag Production tour with a bang at the Kansas Expocenter in Topeka Kansas. On Friday, Rob French in Twisted Dragon made it all the way to the racing finals but fell short to Jerry Dalton in Bigfoot #11, but French got his redemption as he took the freestyle victory over a close margin with Dalton. On Saturday night it was once again French making it to the finals but again losing in a close one to Bigfoot, transmission problems haulted the freestyle run of Twisted Dragon as Ghost Ryder took the Saturday freestyle win. Rob French takes a solid stand in 2nd place in the 2008 CFP Points Chase as Mark Foulk falls into 4th spot in the standings to start off the year.
